Rob Ricketts - Co-Owner - Having graduated from Georgian College and Northwood University with degrees in Automotive Marketing, I’ve always been passionate about the automotive industry. I’ve worked in both the retail and corporate sides of the business with a brief stint in automotive finance since 1999. It’s an exciting time to be in the industry with new products and technologies coming at a quicker pace than ever before. In 2005 I relocated to New Brunswick to become one of the owners of Fredericton Volkswagen. In that time Fredericton has become my home. Alfred Kenny - Sales Associate: I have over 30 years experience in the automotive industry, 22 years of that spent with VW. After starting as a technician in 1976 I have since completed my Journeyman training to become a Certified Automotive Technician. I finally found my niche in sales, and since 1989 have enjoyed introducing families to the excitement of the Volkswagen brand, and now to their children. Not only is the automobile my trade it is also my hobby with antique cars being my passion. Betty Blanchard - Sales Associate: I have been working in various sales positions for over 20 years, and together with that experience as well as 2 recent years of Volkswagen sales experience, I have the knowledge and understanding to help you find the right vehicle. Shopping for a vehicle should be easy and enjoyable, so I try to make each VW customer feel that way. When I am not selling cars, I am spending time with my family, and I love driving my Jetta from one child’s sporting event to another. Dan Caldwell - Business Office Manager: My story goes like this…I began working at a dealership at the age of 16 detailing vehicles for summer employment. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much that I decided to pursue a career in the automotive field. After completing high school, I was accepted at Georgian College for the “Automotive Marketing – Business Administration” program which lasted 3 years and graduated with honours. Since my completion of College, I’ve been employed with Fredericton Volkswagen for the last 3 years and have loved every second of it. The VW customers, staff, and atmosphere have kept me here to stay! During my personal time, I enjoy riding my motorcycle, working around my home, playing with our dog, and hiking/camping! |
